Random Q Thoughts
· Hey Patriots fans, the world is not out to get you. So please shut and saying everyone is a hater against you. Loving in New England I keep hearing this and keep hearing people in New England bring up Spygate. I also listen to national people and they don’t bring it up as much an Pats fans. Did Bill Bellicheck get caught doing something he was told not to? Yes. Did he pay the price? Yes, no do like he has and move on. He is a great coach, one of the top 5 of all time in my opinion. But seems like New England fans need something to whine about so have to keep brining it up. Sit back and enjoy one of the greatest teams ever in football. Not everyone is against you, sit and watch ESPN, and the Fox and CBS pre game shows they praise the Pats, sure one or two guys here there might say something negative, but the vast majority praise the Pats. I know this wont happen as most people have to jump all over the one guy who says something stupid. This is once and lifetime thing the Pats are doing, so why can’t you enjoy it?
· I am sitting here watching the release the release of the “Mitchell report” about steroids use in baseball. To me this report is so full of holes and is really not the substantial. There is a lot of hearsay and information received third hand. Of course a lot of this has to go back on the players who refused to talk to Mitchell. The man source was a weight trainer who worked for the Blue Jays and Yankees, well of course you are going to get more players from his clients. Most teams did not have this against them so some of there players did not get named. The Players Union should be ashamed of itself for telling its players not to cooperate. So they need to take a lot of the blame for anyone who might be on the list who is not a steroids user.
· I know everyone in Boston is focused on the Pats and Celtics, and with good reason. But need to take a look at the Bruins. They have the second best record in the Eastern Conference right now, pretty impressive after last years debacle of a season.
· Bobby Petrino is a huge scumbag. He quit as the Atlanta Falcons head coach 13 games into his first season, and then did not have the guts to face the team to tell them. He also lied to the owner of the team less then 24 hours before he quit, to take a job in college. He told Arthur Blank on Monday he was not talking to Arkansas. Then that night he took the job. If I had a son looking at schools I would be very weary of him looking at Arkansas, I would not trust anything Petrino says, and would not feel comfortable having this scumbag of a so called man leading my child.
· Another reason Joe Paterno is the man in college football came out last week. After a half century, yes that is correct, at Penn State his salary was finally made public. To this point it never was. It came out that is making a little over 500 thousand as coach for the Nittany Lions. Sure that is a lot of money, but when you look at scumbag like Bobby Petrino making over 3 million to coach Arkansas, and he never won anything. Peterno should be making a hell of lot more then that. But he doesn’t and does not complain about it. He actually gives a good amount of that money back to the school and actually lives in the same small 2 bedroom house he has for over the last 40 years. Papa Joe will always be the man.
· I have been watching the Celtics a lot so far this year, and have to say I have been highly impressed with them. Of course everyone points to Pierce, Allen and Garenett as the reason why they are 18-2, and they would be correct for the most part. But the other members of the team has stepped up when needed to. The knock on them going into the year was that after the big 3 they had no depth, well that has been proven wrong so far.
When did boxing become so irrelevant? It use to be that a heavyweight championship fight meant something. Well now I cant even tell you who the heavyweight champions are, that is one of the problems there are to many champions. Also paying $50 to see it on pay per view cant help
